When you're having fun it's hard to find time to write a blog!

  • We immersed ourselves in Vincent Van Gogh's work at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool.

  • I made some short films of my much loved garden to send to the BBC's Gardener's World programme, in the hope that my green space might be selected to appear on TV. I spent as much time as possible in the garden, though the weather wasn't always amenable. I can lose time in the garden doing nothing much, being peaceful.

  • I've also sent several applications to appear in quiz shows on various TV channels. If/when any of them is successful I'll let you know ...

  • Pruned a fig tree in a friend's garden (I have apples, damsons, blackcurrants, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries, but no figs).

  • Organised a (house) painting party for a friend.

  • Wrote (well, copied) a message in Ukrainian to accompany a gift.

  • Finally! I completed a Sudoku (New York Times online easy puzzle). That took a long time.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

I'm Jane B. 69 years old and still learning about life. Setting up this blog was the first new thing of 70 things, new to me, I hope to (try to) do in my 70th year. Let me know if you have any ideas of things I could try. Why not subscribe to join me on the journey towards 70 in January 2025?

Let the posts
come to you.
